My name is Jack Quicker, I am a sophomore at the University of Vermont, Co-Majoring Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics. I have been using CAD and 3D printing for 10 years, including experience with SOLIDWORKS, OnShape, AutoCAD, Fusion360, TinkerCAD, Cura, PrusaSlicer, Bambu Studio, and Flashforge. I am proficient in Python, Java, Javascript, HTML, CSS, MatLab, and TI-BASIC. In high school, I was a teaching assistant for AP Calculus and AP Computer Science Principles. Currently, in addition to personal projects, I am involved with the Alternative Energy Racing Organization(AERO), a club at UVM which builds and races an electric racecar.
Living in Vermont, I have developed a love for being outside, whether on the lake, in the mountains, or driving on backroads. I am an avid biker, runner, and skier, which I raced competitively from U-8 through high school. I am also interested in aviation and have logged some flight time, including in a Cirrus Vision Jet, and am looking forward to dedicating more time to flying after college.
